TATTOO AFTERCARE

FUNNY - BUT I’M NOT KIDDING ... LOL

You just invested in permanent art. Let’s not ruin it with temporary bad decisions.
Please follow MY aftercare — not Google, not your cousin, not that one friend who “has a bunch of tattoos.”

STEP 1: THE BANDAGE (SANIDERM / SECOND SKIN)

I applied a protective bandage. This thing is your BEST FRIEND right now.

KEEP IT ON:

  • Minimum: 3 days
  • Best: 3–6 days (I love you if you do this)

Why?
It basically tricks your skin into thinking it’s already healed, which:

  • Speeds everything up
  • Reduces scabbing
  • Keeps bacteria OUT

Yes, it might look weird and juicy under there. Relax. That’s normal.

IF YOU TAKE IT OFF AT 3 DAYS:

Okay, we’re still on good terms.

  •  WASH YOUR HANDS FIRST (I’m serious… don’t be gross)
  • Wash tattoo with:Gold Dial antibacterial soap
  • Pat dry with a clean paper towel (not your crusty bathroom towel)
  • Apply a LIGHT layer of Lubriderm

AND LISTEN:

  •  NO GYM (staph literally lives there… waiting)
  •  NO SAUNA
  •  NO JACUZZI

Your tattoo is an open wound. Act accordingly.

IF YOU TAKE IT OFF BEFORE 3 DAYS (WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT ):

Now we’re in damage control mode.

  • Wash hands → wash tattoo (same soap)
  • Apply a VERY thin layer of:Aquaphor orA&D ointment

Keyword: THIN.
If you look shiny like a glazed donut, you did too much.

IF YOU KEEP IT ON 3–6 DAYS (ELITE BEHAVIOR):

Chef’s kiss. This is the goal.

Once removed:

  1. Wash hands
  2. Wash tattoo (Gold Dial antibacterial soap)
  3. Pat dry (paper towel only)
  4. Apply Lubriderm (light, not sloppy)

GENERAL RULES (NON-NEGOTIABLE):

  •  Wash your hands before touching your tattoo
(Dirty hands = dirty tattoo = bad decisions)
  •  Don’t pick, scratch, or peel
  •  No soaking (bath, pool, ocean… yes even in Hawaii, I know )
  •  No tight, dirty clothes rubbing it

FINAL WARNING (WITH LOVE):

If you follow this, your tattoo will heal beautifully.
If you don’t… you’re choosing chaos.

If you have questions, ask me — not Google University.

Take care of your tattoo. It’s on your body forever… I’m just the artist.
